Pavan was born and raised in Vancouver. He completed medical school at the University of Sydney. From there, he went on to complete his pediatric residency at the University of Saskatchewan at Royal University Hospital. Thereafter, he returned to Vancouver where he completed his pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at BC Children’s Hospital. His areas of interest include critical care, resuscitation, and point of care ultrasound in the emergency department. Outside of work, Pavan enjoys hiking and exploring local parks with his wife and 2 kids. He is thrilled to join the team at BC Children’s Hospital.
