Dr. Hildebrand is the recipient of the 2020 Royal College / AMS Donald Richards Wilson Award from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
This award was established to honour and acknowledge the contribution of the late Dr. Donald R. Wilson (President, RCPSC, 1988-1990) to medical education. It is given annually to a medical educator or an identified leader who has demonstrated excellence in integrating the CanMEDS roles into a Royal College or other health related training program.
Dr. Hildebrand has been recognized in the past, when she was awarded the 2017 UBC FoM Clinical Faculty Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching.
The 2020 Donald Wilson Award from the Royal College acknowledges Dr. Hildebrand’s contribution as a true national leader in medical education.
The last BC-based winner of the Royal College / AMS Donald Richards Wilson Award was Dr. Roger Wong back in 2007.
Congratulations Dr. Hildebrand!
