Biography:
Dr. Osiovich graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. He completed his pediatric residency at Queen’s University and his neonatal training at the University of Miami and University of Alberta. He arrived in Vancouver in 2000 after having spent 4 years at the University of Alberta as Program Director of the Neonatal Perinatal Medicine fellowship program. Dr. Osiovich’s main research focus covers aspects on infection, and cardiac and respiratory problems in the neonatal population. As Division Head, he also has a special interest in the training and education of future neonatologists in Canada and Latin America.
