Sexual and gender-related violence (SGRV) against girls in sub-Saharan Africa remains a major crisis, impacting mental health and well-being. Despite existing efforts, 1 in 3 women still experience gender-based violence in their lifetime. A powerful intervention in Uganda used music to raise awareness—celebrity artists created a song and video highlighting key issues, reaching millions through social media, concerts, and national broadcasts.
