The Department of Pediatrics, UBC & BCCH; the Division of Nephrology; and, BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute are pleased to announce that Dr. Susan Samuel, will be joining us on August 1, 2024.
Dr. Samuel is a Professor at the Department of Pediatrics, Cumming School of Medicine, at the University of Calgary, Alberta; she is a Pediatric Nephrologist, with Alberta Children’s Hospital; and she was appointed a Canada Research Chair Tier 1, Precision Medicine, and Data Science in Child Health in 2021.
Since 2018, she has served as the Director for the ENRICH (Empowering Next-Generation Researchers in Perinatal and Child Health) program. ENRICH is a network of mentors and learners focused on perinatal and child health across Canada.
She brings a wealth of experience in mentorship, research, advocacy, and education. Welcome Dr. Samuel!
