UBC Killam Research Prize

Congratulations! Dr. Stuart Turvey is a recipient of a 2023 UBC Killam Research Prize for outstanding research and scholarly contributions in the category of Applied Science, Medicine and Sciences.

Established in 1986, ten UBC Killam Research Prizes are awarded annually to top campus researchers with funds provided annually from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies established through a bequest from the late Dorothy J. Killam.

This award recognizes research excellence and scholarly achievements. Award recipients are selected by UBC’s Faculty Research Awards Committee and include early career researchers through to established members of faculty.
