On Oct 25 2023, at the BC Pediatrics Society Annual AGM, The American Academy of Pediatrics, BC Chapter, awarded Dr. Matt Carwana with the ‘2023 AAP – BC Chapter Special Achievement Award’ for his exceptional work and advocacy for children’s health and wellness in BC.
The mission of the American Academy of Pediatrics is to attain optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. To accomplish this mission, the Academy supports the professional needs of its members.
