On Friday, October 14 2022, The Child Neurology Society bestowed The Bernard Sachs Award to Dr. Steven Paul Miller.
This annual recognition honors individuals of international status who have led cutting edge research in neuroscience with relevance to the care of children with neurological disorders.
In 2021, Children’s Healthcare Canada recognized Dr. Miller with the Individual Leadership Award. He was lauded for his tireless work to improve the health of vulnerable children, and for being a champion of equity, diversity and inclusion strategies to promote the careers of those around him.
And just recently, he was nominated into the Royal Society of Canada. Membership in the RSC is Canada’s highest academic honour that an individual can achieve in the Arts, Social Sciences and Sciences.
