Congratulations to Dr. Joseph Ting!

Dr. Ting was presented with the Early Career Investigator Award in Women’s and Newborn Health Research from the Women’s Health Research Institute on Wednesday April 26th, 2017 at the 2nd Annual Women’s Health Research Symposium.

Dr. Ting is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics, University of British Columbia

This award is to recognize research excellence in an early career investigator from British Columbia who focuses on women’s or newborn health research. The award will be presented to an outstanding researcher in the first six years of his or her academic career who has made an outstanding contribution to scholarly or research endeavours in women’s or newborn health research. Candidates who conduct women’s or newborn health research in any of the four research themes of CIHR (Biomedical; Clinical; Health Services; Social, Cultural, Environmental, and Population Health Research) are eligible for consideration.
