We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Karine Khatchadourian to the position of Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, in the Division of Endocrinology.
Dr. Khatchadourian received her Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Master’s degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University. She attended medical school and completed her residency program in 2010 in General Pediatrics at the University of Montreal.
She then completed subspecialty training in Endocrinology and Metabolism in 2013 at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Khatchadourian received the John Bailey Research Award for 2013 during the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Pediatric Endocrine Group. She has a special interest in clinical management of transgender youth.
Dr. Khatchadourian is currently completing a Master’s degree in Health Sciences at the University of British Columbia and working as a pediatric endocrinologist at BC Children’s Hospital.
