Dr. Paul Rogers appointed to SIOP

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Paul Rogers, Clinical Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology/Oncology, as Secretary-General to the board of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP), for the term 2013-2016.

SIOP was established in the late 1960’s and has grown into a dynamic and vibrant global organization with over 1000 members worldwide, including doctors, nurses, other health-care professionals, scientists and other researchers. SIOP members are dedicated to increasing knowledge about all aspects of childhood cancer; its mandate is to improve and optimize treatments throughout the world. SIOP’s vision is that no child should die of cancer.
