Dr. Bishop is a recipient of the 2018 Clinical Faculty Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching from UBC.
The Clinical Faculty Awards for Excellence in Clinical Teaching recognize Clinical Faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in clinical teaching at a Clinical Academic Campus.
Three awards are available. The awards, presented at the Faculty of Medicine Awards Reception, consist of a certificate and a financial prize of $1,000.
Dr. Bishop is a specialist in Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and he is located out of Victoria General Hospital.
Drs. Kyla Hildebrand and Kristin Houghton were recipients of the award last year.
