In its second year, MSFHR is delighted to announce 12 health professional award recipients, including a nurse, a psychologist and physicians specializing in cancer, stroke, asthma and HIV.
Dr. Biggs from the Division of Allergy & Immunology, was awarded funding for her project entitled “Improving outcomes through precision medicine for adults with primary immunodeficiency.”
The MSFHR Health Professional-Investigator (HP-I) Program is designed to help decrease the gap between health research and its implementation. HP-I awards support health professionals who are actively involved in patient care to conduct and apply research relevant to health and/or the health system.
