RICHER was presented with the John McCreary Prize for Interdisciplinary Teamwork at the UBC Health Awards Reception earlier this year.
A number of our pediatric colleagues from BCCH and UBC faculty have been and continue to be deeply involved in the RICHER social pediatrics initiative.
RICHER is an important link for BCCH to the community of Vancouver and has enabled us to develop long standing relationships with multiple community agencies and families, be more responsive to the needs of adolescents presenting to the ED and provide a rich training and education environment for medical students, pediatric residents and others.
