The Miracle Weekend is a two-day celebration, broadcasted live on Global BC that showcases the best of BC Children’s Hospital: patients, their families, caregivers and supporters who come from every corner of BC.
Since 1988, British Columbians have raised over $242 million through Miracle Weekend fundraising campaigns for the urgent needs of BC Children’s Hospital. Thanks in part to those donations, the way we care for children has been transformed. BC Children’s Hospital relies on donor support to upgrade equipment, provide education and support research.
The BC Children’s Hospital Foundation recognizes the generosity of supporters and is offering the Hospital Family Matching Gift Program for 2015. All donations of $10,000 or more (before the end of the year) by hospital family individuals will be matched with $10,000 from the Foundation. Both the donation and matching gift can be designated by the donor to a particular area within BC Children’s Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre, and the Child and Family Research Institute.
All donations and pledges made before May 28, 2015 will be added to the Hospital Family cheque presentation at the 2015 Miracle Weekend telethon on May 31st.
